Founder of The Nursing Bar
I am a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)–prepared nurse with over 17 years of diverse experience across leadership, education, medical-surgical nursing, long-term care, care management, and legal nurse consulting. Throughout my career, I have remained deeply committed to clinical excellence, professional growth, and elevating the standard of nursing practice.
From the bedside to leadership roles, I have seen firsthand the power nurses hold to influence patient outcomes, shape healthcare systems, and mentor the next generation of clinicians. My background in education and leadership has strengthened my belief that confident, well-supported nurses are the foundation of safe, high-quality care
I am passionate about advancing nursing as a profession — not only through clinical expertise, but through advocacy, mentorship, and a commitment to lifelong learning. I believe excellence is not optional; it is the standard. My mission is to empower nurses to own their knowledge, strengthen their voice, and raise the bar in every space they practice.

A Message From The Founder
The Nursing Bar was created to give nurses a space to think bigger about their careers and the future of the profession.
After years working in healthcare and academia, I realized many nurses were navigating their professional journeys without a clear roadmap or a place to have honest conversations about leadership, career growth, and innovation in nursing.
The Nursing Bar exists to change that.
This platform brings together conversations, ideas, and insights from nurses who are shaping the profession in meaningful ways. Through interviews, articles, and media, our goal is to elevate the voices of nurses and create a community focused on growth, learning, and leadership.
Whether you’re a new nurse, experienced clinician, educator, or executive, The Nursing Bar is a place where we explore what it means to build a meaningful career in nursing.
